Making a Dream Come True |
Whatcom Community College

A Benefit Concert in Memory of Denise Guren
7:30-9:30PM
Admission: $10
Proceeds will go toward building a covered bicycle rack at
Whatcom Community College, fulfilling one of Denise's dreams of
a green-friendly community.
Three Whatcom County bands will be performing. The Fourth Corner
International Folkdance Band, Millie and the Mentshn, and What
the Chelm. The music will be a lively mix of Balkan, Latin,
Hebrew, Yiddish, and eastern European klezmer music. Dancing
will be encouraged. |

What the Chelm has performed all over Washington State as well as
accompaniment to moving the historic Boise, Idaho synagogue in October 2003
and at a student celebration at Carleton
